TV Show Review

I know many of you work hard and some of you either work from home or want to work from home. My question is what do you do to relax? Do you knit? Do you read? Do you watch TV? 

I, personally, like to relax by watching TV from time to time.

Today, I want to give a review for those of you who want to watch something provocative and a little on the creepy side. It's close to Halloween, so I couldn't resist! 

I've been a "fan" of 'American Horror Story'... ever since it came out in 2011. I love Jessica Lange and wanted to see what she could do in such odd roles.

 The show has run 3 seasons so far...this is the 4th. 

Each season has been fantastic and held it's own. 

The first season was entitled 'Murder House,' the second, 'Asylum,' the third, 'Coven,' and now , 'Freak Show!"

This season takes place in the 1950's...Jupiter, Florida. It's about a Freak Show/Carnival that has been set up on the outskirts of town. 

The show uses actual human oddities and there is a definite creepy vibe. The music really makes you squirm. 

It is both sad and scary at the same time. You will have that morbid curiosity to know you shouldn't be gawking...but you do anyway. 

Without giving away too much, there is a Killer Clown...duh...right?...a Two Headed Lady, a Bearded Lady...just to name a few.

Jessica Lange portrays a German Fraulein, with her own "issues." She  longs to be on stage and the center of attention. 

It is her character, that takes in all the lost souls that have been born with issues and have been abused by family...by society.

The acting is superb and all the guest stars are thrilling to see! 

Jessica and Kathy Bates (the bearded lady) both won Emmy awards for last season's show! 

It is fabulous!

 If you've never watched, please see the one you missed tonight and you'll be caught up with the rest of us. You'll be glad you did.

The characters -actors/actresses all appear as different ones in all of the seasons...a brilliant idea. 

'American Horror Story-Freak Show' airs on Wednesday evenings at 10pm eastern on FX.
