Beware of Linkedin Scam

There is a scam that's been going around for a couple of years and you need to be aware.

The scam doesn't come from LinkedIn but scammers use the LinkedIn reputation to hurt many people.

These scammers will somehow e-mail you, making you think you have a LinkedIn request. What happens is...when you click on the link, your system gets infected with a virus.

Not good!

To make sure the e-mail you get is real, mouse over the “LinkedIn" links in the email. 

They should match the links displayed at the bottom of your email window as you move your mouse back and forth.

 If you’re still not quite sure if it's legit or not... just log in to your LinkedIn account and check.
