1) When you see a job online or in a paper, do not call the employer unless it says to do so. Follow the directions and e-mail or fax resume.
2)If there is an online forum for the company and / or job, do not complain about the hiring process...meaning...how long it takes to hear back from someone, the legth of an application...anything!
3) Don't get discouraged if you don't hear from an employer right away. You must remember the job market is tough out there and employers must go through enough resumes and interviews to make sure they are making the right decision.
4) If you do get hire, don't "hang" with negative people. They will only bring you down and if you complain about a manager or the company...they may "tell on you!"
5) When being interviewed, make sure you're prepared, but...be yourself. Don't sound scripted, but make sure you ask all the questions you need to.
